DRAIN MAINTENANCE

Maintaining your drains is essential to keeping them flowing correctly. There are things you can do yourself at home to prevent issues occurring that could cause problems for your drains. You can also have yearly maintenance check ups from our engineers who can spot anything that could cause you a problem later on. It's also important to know which part of your drains are your responsibility.

To keep your drains flowing DON'T:

1. Pour any fat/oil down the drain, this will solidify. As the fat/oil builds up over time it will block your drains and pipes.

2. ONLY flush toilet roll down the toilet- nothing else should be flushed away including toilet wipes.

3. Use hair catchers for your shower/bath drains as over time the build up of hair will clog & block the drains.

4. Clear all debris such as leaves from outside gully's to ensure they are able to function correctly.
