2025 is rapidly approaching. Here are some simple things you can do to keep your drains flowing well in the new year!

In 2025 start to implement simple but effective methods to look after your drains and keep them flowing well because when they get a problem it can quickly become costly!

1. Use drain catchers on all bathroom drains where applicable to catch any hair or debris, this can quickly build up and cause blockages.

2. Use sink strainers on your kitchen/utility sinks, these are cheap & effective at catching any waste or debris that could potentially go down the drain and contribute to blockages.

3. NEVER pour grease or liquid fat down your drains, I know its sometimes bothersome to dispose of and your kitchen sink seems like a good place but it will solidify and cause you problems in the future. Let it solidify in a container and then throw it away. Some areas have dedicated cooking oil recycling programmes as well.
